PALMER‹ Palmer

Terms of use

Using Palmer

Palmer lets you keep digital business cards, share them in person, and keep track of the people you meet. By creating an account or using Palmer, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

You need to be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live. Palmer is not meant for children.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and for what happens under it. Keep your sign-in method secure, and tell us if you think someone else has used it. Give accurate details on your cards. Don't pretend to be another person or organization.

Your cards and your people

What you put on your cards, and the notes and contacts you keep, stays yours. You give Palmer permission to store, display and deliver it so the service can work: showing a card to the person you share it with, keeping it up to date for Club holders, and keeping your People list.

Only add details you are allowed to share. Only save or add other people's details for ordinary personal and professional contact. Don't use Palmer to harass, spam or deceive anyone, to scrape other people's information, or to break the law.

Sharing

When you share a card, the recipient sees the details on that card. Anyone who has seen your details can keep or repeat them, and link expiry cannot take back a copy. Share only what you are comfortable handing to that person. How links expire is described in Help.

Memberships

Palmer Free costs nothing. Palmer Club is a paid membership. The price, billing period and renewal terms for Club will be shown to you at checkout before you pay, and you will not be charged without your confirmation. Club features are described in the app only when they are available.

Connected accounts and Palmer, your assistant

Connecting a service such as LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube or GitHub is your choice, and you can remove a connection at any time. Those services have their own terms. The assistant's replies are generated automatically and can be wrong, so check anything important before you rely on it or send it.

Ending your use

You can download your data or delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or put other people at risk. What happens to your information is covered in Your data and privacy.

Limits of the service

Palmer is provided as is and as available. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error free. To the extent the law allows, Palmer is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law that can't be waived.

Changes

We may update these terms as Palmer changes. When we make a significant change we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use Palmer after a change means you accept the updated terms.
